Energy storage news - December 18th, 2020

This week’s TOP 5 features news about the agreement between Mortenson and Terra Gen regarding the construction of a remarkable solar-plus-storage installation in California, the financial close of a 100 MW battery storage project in Queensland, the results of the Fast Reserve frequency control service auction in Italy, the release of a RFP by Arizona Public Services to procure 60 MW of storage and the plans for a wind, solar and storage renewable plant in the Netherlands.

  1. Mortenson will serve as EPC on the massive Edwards & Sanborn solar-plus-storage project in California, which includes a 2.2 GWh battery system.
