  1. Enel plans to deploy 1 GW of battery storage across its portfolio by 2022 as it breaks ground on its first solar-plus-storage project in North America.

  2. Portugal received more than 74 investment proposals for industrial production of hydrogen, totaling 16 billion euros.

  3. Nevada utility NV Energy unveiled its plans for three solar-plus-storage projects, amassing 478 MW of solar PV and 338MW/1,352MWh of battery storage by the end of 2023. 

  4. Switch and Capital Dynamics started construction works at their massive Gigawatt 1 project set to generate 555 MW of solar power and 800 MWh of battery storage in Nevada, USA.

  5. Network operator Hokkaido Electric Power selected Sumitomo to couple a 17MW/51MWh vanadium flow battery with a wind farm in northern Japan.
