  1. The Asian Development Bank (ADB) approved a $100-million loan to support a 125-MW battery storage system in Mongolia.

  2. Wärtsilä will be delivering a 70-MW, renewable-coupled, battery system to an undisclosed Californian client.

  3. Canada’s Alberta and Ontario provinces renewed their interest in energy storage with 8MW/8MWh and 5.4 MWh systems.

  4. The Arkansas Public Service Commission approved Entergy’s Searcy solar-plus-storage project combining 100 MW of solar PV with 10MW/30MWh of battery storage.

  5. California’s Public Utilities Commission will be considering avoided transmission costs in the valuation of distributed energy resources.
