  1. Hawaiian Electric approved 16 solar-plus-storage and standalone projects for a total of 459 MW of generation and 2,900 MWh of storage.

  2. The 690-MW solar plus 380-MW/1400-MWh storage Gemini Solar project was approved by the US Department of Interior.

  3. Strata Solar selected Tesla to equip its 100MW/400MWh Ventura Energy Storage project in California.

  4. Energy cooperative Great River Energy teamed up with technology developer Form Energy to replace a coal unit with a 1MW/150MWh “aqueous air flow” battery.

  5. German equipment provider SCHMID and Saudi chemical leader SABIC joined forces to develop a 3 GWh vanadium redox flow battery factory in Saudi Arabia.
