  1. Shortly after Southern California Edison’s 770-MW/3080-MWh energy storage procurement, PG&E followed with the procurement of 7 projects totaling 423MW/1700MWh.

  2. Chinese integrator Sungrow will equip a 1-hour, 203-MW, solar-plus-storage system in Northwest China.

  3. KEPCO won an international bid to construct a 60-MW solar plant with 32 MW of energy storage in Mangilao, Guam.

  4. South African miner Gold Fields completed its 56 MW Agnew Hybrid Renewable Project in Western Australia. The ARENA-backed microgrid hosts 18 MW of wind power, 4 MW of solar, 13MW/4MWh of battery storage and 21 MW of fossil generation.

  5. The UK government ratified a set of changes to the Capacity Market that will enable wider energy storage participation in auctions.
