  1. Hawaiian Electric asked the Public Utilities Commission for its approval regarding the deployment of 2000 MWh of battery storage projects.

  2. Broad Reach Power's two 100 MW batteries have started construction in Texas.

  3. A 180 MW battery storage system has been announced by 8minute Solar Energy in California.

  4. South Africa's National Energy Regulator has approved an energy resource procurement plan which includes 513 MW of storage by 2030.

  5. A fire incident took place at Orsted's battery storage facility in Liverpool. No casualties were reported.
